Senior Finance Business Systems Analyst – Riverside, California – Hybrid
Responsibilities:
- Act as a business relationship liaison between IT and Finance and Accounting (F&A) teams to ensure all business needs are met.
- Lead requirement gathering sessions for implementation of all business needs.
- Lead and coordinate F&A projects on both IT and Business side
- Follow a reasonably accepted communication plan for each project including communication with the development team.
- Make extra effort to understand new applications involved in any given project.
- Coordinate and test programs before formal launch
- Actively seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions.
- Aid and support the coaching and training of other team members to ensure all employees are confident in the use of software applications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or computer science is preferred.
- Must have 5 plus years of experience in developing and maintaining financial reporting systems and processes.
- Must have knowledge of ERP and FPNA systems with finance and accounting domain.
- Must have strong desire to learn new technologies including business intelligence and robotic process automation.
- Must understand good leadership principles and have proven ability to manage small to medium size projects.
- Must have ability to write SQL with confidence.
- Must be willing to work onsite in Riverside.
- Experience in tools like D365, Power BI and Automation Anywhere is a plus
- Ability to understand Excel Macros is a plus.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and retail industry is a plus.
- Outstanding collaboration and communication skills are essential.
